Eiyō is a nutrition-intelligence product: it produces AI-assisted nutrition assessments that a registered dietitian reviews, along with meal plans and supplement recommendations. Because the Service handles health-related information, we treat that information with particular care, as described below.

1. Information we collect

Account information

Your name, email address, and profile photo, obtained when you sign in through a third-party provider (Google or Outlook). We do not receive or store your provider password.
Authentication and session records needed to keep you signed in.

Health and nutrition information you provide

Health profile details such as date of birth, sex, height, weight, and activity level.
Medical conditions, laboratory values, and current medications and supplements you enter.
Dietary preferences, intake information, and other details you share for an assessment.
Assessments, nutrition diagnoses, meal plans, and recommendations generated for you.

Usage information

Basic technical data (device, browser, IP address) and logs generated as you use the Service.
Records of when you follow an affiliate purchase link (see Section 4).

2. How we use your information

To generate AI-assisted nutrition assessments, which a registered dietitian reviews before they are finalized, and to produce meal plans and supplement recommendations.
To operate, secure, and maintain your account and the Service.
To send you service-related messages (for example, email verification, password resets, and account-activity notices).
To understand and improve how the Service is used.
To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. AI-assisted content

Parts of your assessment are drafted with the help of automated (AI) systems and are then reviewed by a registered dietitian before being signed off. To produce this content, relevant information you provide may be processed by third-party AI model providers acting as our service providers. We do not permit these providers to use your information to train their models where that option is available to us, and we work to limit what is shared to what is needed.

4. Affiliate links and purchases

Some supplement and product recommendations include affiliate purchase links (for example, Amazon, where Eiyō participates in the Amazon Associates Program, and, where offered, a dietitian dispensary such as Fullscript). If you follow one of these links and make a purchase, we or your dietitian may earn a commission, and we record that you followed the link. Purchases are completed on the third party's own site under its terms and privacy policy; we do not receive your payment card details.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

With service providers who host, secure, email, and power the Service (including AI model providers and cloud infrastructure) under agreements that limit their use of it.
With the registered dietitian who reviews your assessment.
When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users and the Service.
In connection with a business transfer (such as a merger or acquisition), subject to this policy.

6. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter as required to meet legal, security, and record-keeping obligations. You can request deletion of your account and associated data as described below.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect your information, including access controls that restrict health information to you and authorized reviewers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices and rights

You can view and update your profile information within the Service.
You can request deletion of your account and associated data.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your information. To exercise them, contact us at the address below.

Note: the scope of applicable privacy laws (such as US state privacy laws or the GDPR) and whether any health-privacy regime applies to Eiyō is [TO BE CONFIRMED WITH COUNSEL] and this section should be finalized accordingly.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under [AGE], and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
